How To Measure
Use a cloth or plastic measuring tape--DO NOT try to use a metal (carpenter's) tape measure or a
yardstick, and have a trusted friend help you. Trying to take many of these by yourself will distort
the reading. For most items take the measurements over thin underclothing, especially the type of
underclothing you plan to wear under the garment. For Outerwear such as Hunting Shirts and
Hunting Frocks, take the measurements over the clothing you typically expect to wear under it.
Stand in your normal posture and pull the tape just snug enough so that it stays in place for the
measurement, but not so tight that it indents into your skin. When measuring length draw the tape
straight down; do not follow the contours of the body.

You have probably noticed that each of our garments is offered without a size designation; we ask
you for certain measurements instead. This is because we use the measurements you send us to
re-draft our base patterns to fit you, not to fit some off-the-rack standard. For this reason, it is
VERY IMPORTANT that you send us accurate measurements. The numbers that are printed on
the tags of your store-bought clothes are not necessarily the same as your actual measurements,
so don't send us those. Use the instructions below to take the requested measurements. Feel free
to include any measurements, sketches, photos, etc, that may help us get the fit right.
PRIVACY: We said it before, but it bears repeating here: The information you send us is
COMPLETELY CONFIDENTIAL! We will never sell, trade, rent, or otherwise divulge the
measurements or other information you send us to any outside party.
NOTE: WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR GARMENTS THAT DON'T FIT DUE TO INCORRECT
MEASUREMENTS PROVIDED TO US.
